All students who wish to enroll at NKU as a graduate student must submit a Graduate Application Form. Applications must be submitted for those who wish to apply as a degree seeking student (master's degree or doctoral degree), for a graduate certificate program, or as a non-degree seeking student who wishes to take graduate level classes but are not intending to pursue a degree or certificate.

Application Fees

The fee for submission of an application for any master's degree, graduate certificate or as a non-degree seeking student are:

  • Application using the online form..........................................  $40.
  • All applications for the Doctorate in Education program.....$50.

Visiting Student Form

Visiting Student Form (Download the form Word 2007 or PDF) - Submit this form with the regular application to the Office of Graduate Programs if course credits are to be transferred to your home institution. Mail the completed form to the address below.

Recommendation Form

Recommendation - Each recommendation must include the completed Recommendation form as well as separate signed letters from recommenders. Download the form and submit one form with each letter of recommendation to the Office of Graduate Programs at the address below.

To check your application status, go to the online application. Enter your e-mail address and password, then click on the Details next to the Status field.
