Graduate Faculty
Full Graduate Faculty Status
NKU faculty members with a terminal degree who receive appointment as Tenure or Tenure-track faculty members shall automatically receive Full Graduate Faculty Status with that appointment. The appointment will continue as long as the faculty member retains that position. Any justification (Digital Measures; accrediting body; etc.) for teaching assignments outside the area of expertise shall remain the obligation of the respective department chairs and deans.
Associate Graduate Faculty
All faculty who do not meet the criteria for Full Graduate Faculty Status (adjuncts, lecturers, visiting professors and all other external members) who are asked to teach graduate level classes at NKU (or particpate as members of graduate committees) shall be required to apply for the status of Associate Graduate Faculty.
