Master of Arts: Teacher as Leader

The MA Ed. is for certified teachers only. It is designed to enhance the teacher's skills and present the most current thinking in education. Students in the MA Ed. can choose from several specialization options.

Please note: the Master of Arts in Education: Principal Preparation has been changed effective Fall 2011. It is now the Education Specialist in Educational Leadership degree. The Ed. Specialist degree is a post-masters program.

If you are interested in Instructional Leadership and need to earn a master's degree the Teacher as Community Leader option in the MA Ed. might prove to be a suitable program.
